Girls Hockey Team

We are excited to introduce a new opportunity for our female players this season! Beginning in October, Nantucket Youth Hockey will offer an optional All-Girls Nor'Easter Add-On Program designed to provide additional ice time, skill development, and the opportunity to play alongside other girls. 

Program Highlights:

• Season begins in October
• One practice per week
• Approximately 4-6 games throughout the season 
• Playing a 12U schedule
• Open to female players birth years 2014-2017 looking to play hockey
• Led by Coach Margaret Dixon 

This program will be in addition to each player's regular Nor'Easter team schedule, not replace it. Players will continue participating with their age-level co-ed teams while enjoying an additional weekly girls-only practice and several games throughout the season. Not on a co-ed team? No problem. This opportunity is open to anyone looking to hit the ice whether you’ve been in our travel, house program or not. 

Our goal is to continue growing girls' hockey on Nantucket by creating more opportunities for female athletes to develop their skills, build friendships, and foster a strong girls hockey community on the island.
